What's involved with this role:

JOB TITLE: Lawyer - Residential Development
REF: Merton 5268605
Pay rate: £28.11 to £40.16 per hour, dependent on experience

The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Residential lawyer with previous experience in dealing with development plot sales and advising clients on all aspects of residential development

You will also be advising on and acting in residential transactions on all aspects of residential conveyancing matters including dealing acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions; variation of restrictive covenant etc

Previous experience in local authority land dealings is not essential and consideration maybe given to private practice background for the right candidate.

What the client is looking for:

A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
Previous experience in dealing with new developments and plot sales is desirable
Significant experience in residential property law, ideally within the public sector
Strong understanding of local authority legal operations.
Good IT Skills and knowledge
Experienced in using a case management system and time recording essential
