Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Following the retirement of our long-serving Headteacher, the Governing Board is seeking to appoint a new Headteacher to lead our welcoming and inclusive school.

We are looking for a committed and inspiring leader who will nurture our strong school culture, ensure high standards and bring a clear and ambitious vision for the future.

We are proud of our caring ethos, our dedicated staff and our curious, enthusiastic children. Prenton is a school where relationships matter and where the whole community works together to provide the best possible start for every child.

About Our School

Prenton Primary School is a popular community school located in a residential area of the Wirral. There are currently 390 pupils on role from F2 to Year 6. There is also privately run Early Years Provision, Prenton Penguins on site.

We work closely with our families to support the academic, social and emotional development of all pupils.

The school has a well-established reputation for inclusion, care and high aspirations. Children are encouraged to take pride in their achievements and to develop confidence and resilience.
