Salary: Grade E. SCP 11 £22,724 - SCP 16 £24,643 (Actual salary/AYR)

Hours Per Week: 30 hours, 7.00am 1.45pm Mon - Fri (core hours). All year round, (during school holidays, hours worked 9.00am-3.45pm flexibly)

Base Location: Stalyhill Infant School, Stalyhill Drive, Stalybridge, SK15 2TR

We are looking for a highly motivated Site Manager who can contribute to the management of the Infant and Junior school’s site management, who is organised, is good at undertaking general repairs and maintenance, and can demonstrate initiative to join Stalyhill Federation School’s staff team. The role is based at Stalyhill Infant School, but will involve some working at the close by Stalyhill Junior School, alongside the Junior School site team.

We are looking for someone with a good range of skills including building and grounds maintenance, general DIY, security, cleaning and an understanding of health and safety issues. The role will involve practical and physical work, and staff management responsibilities.

The successful candidate will ensure that the school is well maintained, clean, safe and secure with keyholder responsibilities.

You will be able to communicate effectively with a range of people including children, staff, parents, visitors and contractors, liaising with contractors for building and repair works.

You will be managing the staff of the small site teams in both the Infant and Junior Schools.

You will undertake cleaning duties and be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness around the school.

You will be able to work flexibly, being available to work possible occasional weekends and evenings as paid overtime if required.
