Your Role

As a Facilities Front line Customer Service Assistant,you will work as part of a team supporting the delivery of Bee Network servicesacross Greater Manchester. You will be a key part of the Facilities Operations Team and will be based on site at one of our operational locations.

In this role one of the critical parts will be maintaining the cleanliness of TfGM bus stations by ensuring the facilities are always kept clean and tidy. The other key part will be delivering excellent customer service to ensure every journey matters. Pride in what we do, and how we support the network to keep Manchester moving is essential. You will liaise with internal stakeholders, operators and our management team to be the key contact whilst on duty and will often be the first person a customer will speak to.

This role involves shift work, our operational hours are Monday to Friday 7am 7pm and alternate Saturdays 8:20am - 4:20pm. Sundays and Bank Holidays are not required at this location. Please note these are operational times and this will be on a rotational shift basis.

Who are we?

Facilities Operations are responsible for the safe operation of TfGM's operational sites and for delivering face to face help and assistance to the customers of the Bee Network.

We are the frontline team for TfGM and the Bee Network. Playing a crucial role in the delivery of the Bee Network ensuring theservices and facilities remain accessible, safe and reliable.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have experience in an operational/customer service role in a busy, bustling, vibrant environment and you’ll recognise the requirements and demands of providing excellent customer service to diverse audiences. You’ll know what the Bee Network is all about and the role that TfGM operational staff play in the delivery of the network. In this role you will be using a mobile device, and you’ll need some experience of using Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

What we can offer you

We have a permanent, 25 hour part time role available with a salary of £28,069 - £29,881 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience plus 12.5% shift allowance, this means that at some locations as you’ll work on a rostered basis and we’ll add an extra 12.5% onto your total pay for the month (not just for certain shifts).

We will also be creating a talent bank for future vacancies across our interchanges within Greater Manchester over the next 6 months.
