The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Crèche Worker to be based at North Family Hub. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality childcare to children (B-5 yrs)
You will be expected to hold an appropriate childcare qualification at Level 3 or equivalent, have a good safeguarding knowledge and an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
Within this role you will need to work both individually and within a multi-agency team. You will be expected to work across Tameside.
It is expected that you plan, deliver and evaluate a range of high-quality play, learning and early years interventions/ activities, ensuring quality experiences for families with children aged B-5 that incorporates the EYFS.
As part of the Early Years offer in Tameside you will be expected to deliver in line with the EY GM delivery model delivering crèche facilities for families accessing parenting courses.
There is additional expectation to support the work ongoing with the Childrens Centres and support wider teams as required.

About You
Candidates must have excellent communication skills which will enable them to undertake effective creche sessions.
You must also have a good understanding of Early Years and the EYFS and have confidence in your ability to support children and young people.
You will need to be flexible in your approach and have a good understanding of In the Moment Planning.
The Early Help service has a strong ethos of working in a multiagency environment, developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with partner agencies to ensure services can support positive and lasting change with families.
