Summary

Role Title: Lead Business Analyst / Project Manager
Duration: 5-6 month contract
Location: Barnsley, hybrid 3 days per week onsite
Rate: up to 460 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Role purpose / summary

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Analyst / Project Manager to support the delivery of its Tech Net Zero Program. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of sustainability-focused technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the client's broader environmental and operational goals.

Key Skills/ requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are effectively managed.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project, and track progress against key milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Model and document business processes using Visio and Confluence.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and decision records.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to the client's governance, compliance, and reporting standards.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project management and business analysis, ideally within large-scale technology or sustainability programs.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies.
  • Expertise in timeline and resource management, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Confluence, and Visio.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable

  • Experience in sustainability or Net Zero initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Banking internal systems and processes.
