Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Home Manager to lead our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Service in Suffolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents with complex needs. This role involves implementing PBS strategies, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the residential home, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care and PBS strategies.- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, promoting their independence and well-being.- Supervise and support a team of care staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.- Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.- Collaborate with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential care setting.- Expertise in Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and implementing PBS plans.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
