Straight Backshift hours Monday – Thursday 4:30pm till 2:30am - Friday Off

Straight Days hours Monday – Thursday 7:45am till 4:30pm, early finish Friday.

Designing, manufacturing, and building precision components for the defence sector, our client are leaders in their industry. Backed by a global organisation and are now seeking new and experienced CNC Miller to join the business.


Job description


The role of CNC Miller Programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:

⦁ Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc Control
⦁ Load tooling with correct offsets
⦁ Upload Programs
⦁ Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards


The ideal candidate will:

⦁ Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling machines using Fanuc controls
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
