Summary
Job title: Transport Planning Manager - Experienced
Salary: ?34k - 38k dependent upon experience and skills
Location: Evesham WR11
Hours: 45 hours per week, one weekend in three rota
The role
• Planning efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery windows.
• Managing drivers and ensuring compliance with driver regulations.
• Booking customer orders and updating stock systems accurately.
• Maintaining smooth operations through effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to work off your own initiative and part of a team with strong management skills

• Excellent geographical knowledge - we deliver nationwide.
• Route planning and scheduling to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Experience in planning day 1 for day 1 and day 1 for day 2 deliveries, with multi drop delivery points and timed delivery windows
• Strong ability to prioritize workloads and manage time effectively.
• Experience conducting driver briefings and ensuring transport compliance is adhered to.
• Traffic management and the ability to respond calmly under pressure.
• A keen eye for detail with strong data entry skills.
• Solid understanding of driver regulations and the ability to manage drivers' hours daily.
• Proficiency in IT systems, especially Microsoft Excel with strong numerical capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.
What You'll Need
• Proven experience in multi-drop logistics and chilled distribution (minimum 3 years).
• Proven driver and team management experience
• Demonstrated background in supply chain management or transport planning.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent English communications.
• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
