Summary
An opportunity has arisen for 1 full time receptionist role within the busy outpatient department in Newham University hospital. There are 4 busy outpatient areas, and you will be required to rotate in these areas.
The team requires a highly organized receptionist to provide a range of duties.
You will be energetic, positive, hardworking and enthusiastic. Have an ability to work at pace, to multitask and to priorities work are key skills required for the post. There is a high-volume patient contact so experience in Customer Services is a must.
You will enjoy working with a range of tasks and you will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will be computer literate, be conscientious and be able to deal with confidential issues.
The post holder will have excellent communication and computer skills.Good keyboard skills and computer literacy are required as this post involves using the Cerner Millennium Care Records System (CRS) .
The clinics operate Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00 but we sometimes hold ad-hoc clinics in the evenings 17:00 and 20:00 and on Saturdays and Sundays which can be anytime between 8am and 6pm. You should therefore expect to work some evening and weekends as part of your full-time hours.
• Meet and greet patients.
• To check in and update all demographics for each patients.
• To book follow up appointments and check out according to the RTT.
