Summary
To support and develop an effective ER advisory service to Divisions across the range of employees relations matters such as discipline, grievance, conduct, capability, job design and evaluation, organisational change and absence management. Ensuring at all times professional, expert and technical guidance and support in line with policies and procedures. Effectively manage employee relations case load from initial query through to resolution/outcome. Responsible for providing HR support and technical advice to the investigating officer during investigations and the output of the written report, coordinating panels and hearings, providing tools and support to panel members ensuring sound best practice and risks are contained. To support the HR Advisors in proactively advising managers on sickness and absence issues and to assist managers with the process and procedures in accordance with Trust policy including preparation of sickness absence reviews and case management where necessary. To assist in change management projects and research as designated by the HR Business Managers including the co-ordination, resolution to ER queries and implementation of change Support the implementation of organisational change initiatives, including workforce transformation, restructures and TUPE working closely with partnership groups and in line with Trust policy and best practice To undertake various projects as directed by the HR Business Manager, including supporting the Agenda for Change Job Evaluation Process and Health & Wellbeing Agenda The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.
