About the Role

We are seeking two highly skilled and motivated Senior Contract & Commercial Solicitors to join our legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your legal career by working on high-profile, high-value projects that make a real impact for the citizens of Nottingham.

You will provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial, construction, transport, energy, infrastructure, and IT projects. Your role will involve drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex contracts and procurement matters, particularly under the Procurement Act 2023. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, elected Members, and external partners, ensuring legal compliance and strategic alignment within a public sector context.

This is a fast paced environment where your ability to manage a complex caseload independently will be key to your success.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

· UK qualified solicitor

· Proven expert in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts

· Confident in managing their own workload with minimal supervision

· Commercially minded, with a solid understanding of public procurement processes

· Experienced in advising on terms within formal tender processes
