• Ensure services are fully compliant with current frameworks, policies, procedures, and CQC regulations
• Oversee and support with staff inductions, training, supervisions, and ongoing development
• Plan, manage, and implement effective rotas to ensure safe staffing levels and service coverage
• Work shifts on a rota basis, providing direct care and support to service users when required
• Ensure all risk assessments, care plans, and documentation are accurate, person-centred, and regularly reviewed
• Support with moving and handling, personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and daily living activities
• Assist with investigations, safeguarding concerns, and contribute to service improvements
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
• Participate in and contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings
• Manage complex situations with confidence, professionalism, and empathy
About You:
We are looking for a dynamic, compassionate individual with a genuine passion for providing quality care and proven experience in a leadership role within health and social care.
Essential:
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working in a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker position
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A good understanding of regulatory requirements, safeguarding, and risk management
• Ability to manage and resolve complex situations professionally
• Must be flexible to work 30 hours per week, covering a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties when required
Desirable:
• A recognised qualification in Leadership and Management
• Experience working in supported living services
• Knowledge of MDT processes and working alongside multi-disciplinary teams
What We Offer:
• Competitive pay rates of £16.10 to £17.25 per hour
• A supportive, friendly, and inclusive working environment
