Summary
M&J Kitchen co-ordinator
Purpose of the role
• Organise ordering and storage of weekly food orders.
• To organise and run the kitchen side of the M&J Sunday morning food service.
• To provide cooked meals for junior teams and visiting sides on match days.
• To set up the BBQ and kitchen areas on a Sunday morning and clean up and tidy away at the end of the session.
• Support the volunteers with the running of the BBQ
Tasks
• To order food required for a Sunday each week.
• To put the delivery away each week when it arrives at the club.
• Set up the BBQ area on a Sunday morning.
• Prepare the kitchen for post-match meal preparation.
• To prepare and cook BBQ food and post-match food.
• Clean and tidy away at the end of a Sunday morning session.
• Stock takes for week ahead.
Qualifications
• Food and hygiene certificate, level 2 at a minimum.
Amount of Time
• No more than 10-12 hours a week, spilt between 2-3 on a Thursday and 6-7 on a Sunday.
• Every Sunday throughout the rugby season and a few hours on a Thursday.
