Summary

We’re looking for a Relief Front of House to join our friendly team at Clarence Park Retirement Village in Malvern.

This is a front of the house role, to serve our residents their meals and drinks, from the kitchen or from the licensed bar. This is a flexible role providing cover when our core team is on leave or needs extra support. You’ll mainly work weekday lunchtimes (11am–3pm), with the occasional evening shift when there are events on. No early mornings, no breakfast prep, and no split shifts — just simple, satisfying work that makes a real difference to our residents.

You’ll support the kitchen team by providing excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity to work in a welcoming, community-focused setting — ideal for someone looking for flexible, casual hours and a job that’s both practical and rewarding.

About You

You won't need waiter experience — just great customer service, great communication skills, a willingness to learn, confidence to manage a large dining space, and the ability to work as part of a small, supportive team.

You’ll be:

Practical, friendly, and confident around a kitchen environment

Someone who communicates well and brings a positive, flexible attitude

Reliable and happy to step in when needed, and at times, with short notice

Legally able to serve drinks from the licensed bar

Whether you're returning to work, looking for a flexible role to fit around other commitments, or simply want to be part of a team that helps others live and eat well, this could be an ideal role for you.
