Duties:

Promoting an innovative culture within a defined range of Curriculum which encourages new ideas for areas of delivery and curriculum development and design.

Developing strategic plans for optimised productivity.

Reviewing and improving organisational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement.

Upholding standards of excellence and quality including the development of improving teaching and learning and student outcomes.

Seeking out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships

Providing and analysing all relevant management information relating to student examinations, assessments, entry, and exit in accordance with College practices.

Working with the Director of Quality to ensure that all quality improvement, quality assurance and self-assessment activities are fully embedded and add value to all courses;

Working with the Director of Quality to support learning walk and deep dive activity

Ensuring the production curriculum intent and development plans and contributing fully to the college curriculum planning and quality processes.

Ensure all staff follow Health and Safety regulations.

Ensure all study programme students engage fully in all components of their programmes including English, maths and work experience.



Skills/Experience:

Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels

Ability influence change

Ability to organise a diversity of experience for students and to manage staff and resources creatively

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility in decision making



Qualifications:

Teaching qualification .

Relevant degree and/or appropriate level of professional qualifications

Minimum level 5 Management qualification
