Summary

Location: Delamere Forest
Salary: £26,852.80 per annum
Employment Type: Full Time
Working Pattern: Alternating two week rota - 4 days one week (32 hours) and 6 days the next (48 hours) with alternating weekends on and off.
Shift Pattern: Alternating between 10am-6pm / 8am-4.30pm or 11am-8.30pm

About the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager role:

As our Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in running our Forest Retreat, the heart of the location. Open all year round, the Forest Retreat serves as our reception, shop, and café, providing a warm welcome and seamless experience for our guests.

Unlike other hospitality jobs, we provide a better work/life balance than most other hotels or bars can provide. Our opening hours are location dependant, but with our morning shift starting no earlier than 8 am and our evening shift finishing by 9 pm, we offer a different experience of working in hospitality.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will help oversee daily operations. You will be a role model for the team, leading by example and ensuring high standards of service and professionalism. In this role you must deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every guest enjoys the perfect Forest Feeling experience.

Your Responsibilities:


Deliver exceptional customer service at reception, ensuring every guest enjoys the perfect Forest Feeling experience.
Support and motivate the Retreat Team, providing training, regular performance reviews, and ongoing development opportunities.
Help achieve guest satisfaction targets, proactively managing feedback to improve our service.
Maintain high standards in food and beverage operations, ensuring consistency and quality in all offerings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, keeping records up to date.
Assist in managing the departmental budget and maximising revenue opportunities.


Skills and Experience:

Our ideal Food and Beverage Manager will be extremely organised, able to balance multiple challenges and tasks at once, provide motivation and guidance to the team while keeping guest satisfaction a top priority.

We’re looking for someone with:


A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Experience leading/ managing a team in a hospitality setting.
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck in and support the team.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising or managing a team.
Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
The ability to stay calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
A passion for delivering exceptional experiences while driving business success.
