Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Opportunity
Long Term Futures is supporting a high-performing secondary school in Enfield to appoint a Deputy Head of Science for a September start. This is a direct-to-school, permanent post, ideal for an ambitious educator eager to take the next step in their leadership career.
You will play a key role in supporting the Head of Faculty with curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and strategic oversight across KS3-KS5. You'll take a hands-on approach to behaviour management, lead small group instruction, and contribute to targeted progress monitoring interventions that drive achievement in Science.
This is a dynamic department where outcomes are consistently strong, and your expertise in one-on-one tutoring, lesson planning, and teacher development will help shape continued success.
What We're Looking For
- QTS with strong classroom experience in Science (KS3-KS5)
- Proven ability in behaviour management and raising attainment
- Confidence leading small group instruction and mentoring colleagues
- Experience using data to track progress and improve outcomes
- Passion for curriculum development and pupil engagement
