About The School

Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Cardiff.

The school is continuing to grow in strength and offers ongoing CPD opportunities throughout the academic year, reflecting its commitment to staff development. While the school includes a sixth form, the timetable for this role will focus on teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

This position is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. For the right candidate, there is the potential for contract extension or a permanent appointment.

Experience, Training And Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year Maths teaching experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
