Summary

Production Controller - Chalgrove, Oxfordshire - £35k - £40k DOE plus excellent benefits

This company, the world's leading manufacturer of ejection seats, are looking to recruit a Production Controller at their prestigious site in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. You will play an integral role in ensuring the on-time delivery of customer orders, high production throughput and ensuring stock levels and work in progress is at the optimum level.

Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire

Hours of work: 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12 Midday on Fridays.

Production Controller Responsibilities:

  • Working proactively with the Production, Engineering and Quality departments supporting the production plan and ensuring corrective actions are introduced to eliminate defects.
  • Producing ammunition data cards.
  • Processing of contract data requirement lines.
  • The management of customer orderbook and delivery reports.
  • Back-up handling deliveries to the Shipping department.
  • Collation and review of production paperwork for presentation for customer review.
  • Checking completed packing / production cards for booking in errors.

The successful candidate:

  • Familiarity with US Government packing and shipping requirements would be highly beneficial
  • Experience in data processing and process coordination within an Aerospace/Defence or Automotive sector.
  • Experience with planning and organising
  • Able to demonstrate solid data analysis and accurate typist skills
  • A keen eye for detail and thorough when checking own work.
  • Experience using SAP would be a distinct advantage
