Key Details

• Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
• Location: Newark – 4 days office / 1 day WFH
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, 1-hour lunch)

About the Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role supporting the commercial team on a variety of construction projects. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Managing project costs and budgets
• Contract administration and document management
• Assisting with subcontractor packages and valuations
• Working closely with site and project managers to ensure cost-effective project delivery
• Contributing to project reporting and forecasting

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your input will be valued, and your skills will continue to grow.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Ideally degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost control principles
• A proactive, detail-focused mindset and strong organisational skills
• Strong communication and a team-first attitude
