Summary
We are seeking two qualified and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our dedicated team in our early years setting in Gamlingay that runs year round providing care for not only nursery aged children, but also a before and afterschool / Holiday Club for children aged up to 9 from 7:30am – 6pm.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and early education to these children.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities that support children's holistic development
• Maintain accurate and detailed child development records and observations
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Support and collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including meal times, nappy changing, and rest periods
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous professional development
Essential Requirements
• Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent)
• Current and valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Excellent communication skills with children and adults
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Working Hours
• Negotiable as we are open 7:30am - 6pm
