About the role:
As a project support officer (planning admin/technician level) in the planning policy team you would be directly helping to shape the future of Exeter. This varied role would support the work of the team in producing planning policies, strategies and the collection of funds from development. Work would include designing/producing reports and promotional material, organising events, editing webpages, using databases, measuring building floor plans and producing maps amongst a range of administrative tasks.

Writing a new local plan we will be delivering on Exeter’s exciting, high quality development and growth agenda, enhancing the city’s outstanding natural and historic environment, achieving net zero carbon by 2030 and regenerating important brownfield sites. We are a small team of dedicated and friendly planning policy and monitoring officers who sit in the planning team and are shaping the future of Exeter.
