Summary
Applegarth Farm Restaurant is looking for a reliable, hard working Trainee Chef / Kitchen Porter (KP) to support our kitchen team. A KP is a vital part of any kitchen team, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and efficient operation, whilst contributing to food preparation and supporting the chefs.
Role:
Assist chefs with preparation and learn new cooking skills (training given).
Help to keep kitchen running smoothly, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to highest standards.
Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
Checking and organising stock.
Organising storage areas.
Qualities
A strong work ethic and team player attitude.
Good time management.
Keen attention to detail.
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn.
No experience necessary, just enthusiasm and an interest in food.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
