Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Administrator for our client in Peterborough, ideally with relevant previous experience with customer service and traffic control to ensure the site complies with legislation. Recording all incoming and outgoing vehicles on the weighbridge system and their overall compliance with site saftey and permit regulation.

Working Monday: 07:00-17:00/17:30 (depending on last tip time but should be available up until 17:30), Tuesday-Friday 07:00-15:00

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct traffic coming onto site and operate weighbridge.
Check incoming loads, ensuring compliance with site licence and permitted waste types.
Accurately record weights & waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver signatures etc.
Process delivery notes and tickets accurately and efficiently and report any anomalies/errors to the weighbridge system to the appropriate people immediately.
Ensure that the waste yardage report is correct and charges are correct.
Ensure that vehicles have the necessary paperwork for forward movements from the site to destination.
Compile compliance reports for materials in and out of the site and ensure that the site diary for materials is kept up to date.
Assist with general administrative duties and customer service, answering the telephone and directing calls as appropriate.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Working in an administrative role in a fast paced environment
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
A good level of skill in Microsoft Office products, I.T systems in general
Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls
Due to the location of the site must be able to drive
Pay Rate:

£12.50 per hour
