Summary

DBT is creating an in-house HR Casework Service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and evolving team. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious HR expert to join us in providing a first-class HR Casework Service to DBT managers and employees.

The successful applicant will work within the HR Casework and Advisory Service, which provides advice to managers and employees on a range of HR Policies, supports on complex people issues and ensures access to the right services at the right time.

This is a new position and will sit alongside the Casework Manager role. The Senior HR Consultant will be a casework expert, offering coaching, training and support to HR Consultants. They will also provide advice on high profile cases and be responsible for driving initiatives to develop line manager confidence in a casework context across DBT.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide induction training and support to new HR Consultants.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and advice to HR Consultants on managing complex HR cases.
  • Provide advice to managers/senior leaders on particularly high-profile cases.
  • Lead on building line manager capability across DBT in a casework context, by leading the delivery of line manager workshops and targeted initiatives.
  • Use Mi to maximise the impact of line manager capability initiatives by targeting hot spots and key trends.
  • Work closely with HR Policy colleagues to improve HR policies by feeding in operational insight and data.
  • There may be line management responsibilities for this post.
