We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team in Southwark as part of the LBS-002 project. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities. Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming areas as assigned.
Ensure all restrooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies and environmental standards.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or repairs needed promptly.
Follow health and safety guidelines while performing all cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns in the cleaning areas.
Assist in special cleaning projects as directed, including deep cleaning and floor maintenance.
Requirements
Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and the ability to use them safely.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 07:00
End Time: 14:00
Pay Per Hour: £15.39
