The school, which has recently received an extremely successful Ofsted inspection, wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic class teacher as an instrumental addition to its dedicated, supportive, and high performing staff team. We are looking for an empathetic, caring person who recognises the importance of nurturing strong and trusting relationships, thus enabling our children to reach their full potential, both personally and academically.
The successful candidate will be passionate and committed – they will go the extra mile to bring out the best in each child by investing in their success – personally, socially, spiritually and academically. They will take pride in maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and current pedagogical approaches for effective teaching and learning, bringing high-energy, a hard-working attitude and innovative ideas. They will be someone who enjoys a challenge, seeks the reward of bringing out the best in others and strives to make a difference.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Have a strong desire to ‘be the best teacher they can be’
• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour and firmly believe that every child can achieve
• Facilitate a stimulating, safe and happy learning environment
• Be reflective about their own teaching and the school’s approaches – willing to research, suggest and implement new ideas
• Have excellent interpersonal skills; a growth mindset, a well-developed sense of humour and enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team
• Be enthusiastic, caring and hardworking
