Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic breakfast club assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing breakfast club staff to support the running of the breakfast club.8.00-9:00AM Monday – Friday, term time only
Start date September 1st 2025
Salary – G01 SCp 2-4, Range £23,656 - £24, 404 Full time Equivalent. 5 hours a week, term time only.
The role will involve: • Basic preparation of food and beverages, eg preparing cereals, toast and fruit. • General kitchen duties, eg cleaning down serving counter and washing up. • Supporting pupils while they eat breakfast, cutting up food for pupils and making sure tables are clean and that water is available • Ensure that all the equipment required for the session is set up before receiving pupils, such as putting the tables and activities out. • Walking children over to the local playgroup in the village hall • Ensure the health and safety of children in your care at all times, such as know who has gone to the toilet and ensure any potential dangers such as spillages are cleaned up etc. • Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained • Lead the children in the establishment of suitable games/activities, ensuring the inclusion of all pupils • Report accidents to the manager and complete an accident form if necessary
