We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker to work in a residential care setting.
We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.
Rate of Pay: £12.26 - £15.82 per hour
Summary:
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our Adult Social Care teams across the county. This vital role involves supporting vulnerable adults, including the elderly and individuals with disabilities, to live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own homes or residential settings. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centered care and make a real difference to people's lives every day.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support tailored to individual needs, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues to promote well-being and trust.
Follow Nottinghamshire County Council policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
Monitor and report changes in service users' health, behavior, or needs to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Essentials:
Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable
Experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, dementia, or mental health issues is a plus.
A genuine desire to help others and make a positive difference in their lives

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
