Summary
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population including management of acute illnesses, chronic disease, and preventive care. Conduct consultations via face-to-face and remote (telephone/video) appointments, adhering to a 10-minute appointment schedule. Provide appropriate clinical documentation and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping. Participate in protected clinical administration time each session for reviewing results, prescriptions, and referrals. Contribute to the achievement of quality targets including QOF, KPIs, and enhanced service frameworks. Engage in multidisciplinary team working and collaborate with practice nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, and other clinical staff. Participate in clinical governance activities such as audits, significant event reviews, and practice meetings. Support the practice in managing patient safety and safeguarding responsibilities. Join the duty doctor rota and provide cover for urgent and same-day appointments as required. Maintain compliance with professional and regulatory requirements, including revalidation and continuing professional development.
