PSS Area Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Area Manager to oversee and support a portfolio of client sites. This role involves
managing on-site cleaning teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. You
will play a key role in the operational success of your assigned area, acting as the main point of contact between PSS, our
clients, and cleaning operatives.



* Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple client sites within your designated area.
* Lead, support, and manage cleaning operatives, ensuring staff are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver high-quality
cleaning services.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly and
effectively.
* Conduct regular site visits and audits to monitor service standards and compliance with Health & Safety protocols.
* Ensure all cleaning activities meet the agreed specifications and contractual obligations.
* Manage staff schedules, holidays, sickness cover, and performance issues.
* Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new cleaning operatives as needed.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including risk assessments and Health & Safety documentation.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless operational support and communication.
* Ability to manage multiple personality types and individuals from different backgrounds



* Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within the cleaning or facilities management sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and clients.
* A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel between sites.
* Well-spoken and professional in all client-facing interactions
