Summary

Estates Maintenance Officer
One full-time permanent post (37 hours)

West Yorkshire Police are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our Estates and Business Services Directorate.

This is an excellent opportunity working in a busy, enjoyable and dynamic environment. The key responsibilities will include carrying out inspections, planned maintenance tasks, decorations and repairs to buildings, fixtures, fittings, and other resources as directed. What will you need?
- Substantial knowledge of general buildings maintenance and ability to carry out minor repairs
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety working practices and compliance regulation
- Hold a full and current UK/European driving license and the ability to pass the Police Driving Test – including Transit vans
- Basic knowledge of Computer Packages i.e. Microsoft Office
- Ability to be able to diagnose and triage faults.
