At Clarendon Home Care, we’re proud to support people to live independently, with dignity and respect. As our Care Quality Supervisor, you’ll be a central figure in making sure our care is not only compliant—but consistently excellent.
You’ll work closely with our Registered Manager and Duty Manager, overseeing quality assurance, compliance, and training. This is a hands-on, people-focused role, suited to someone with strong values, a sharp eye for detail, and a calm, confident approach to leadership.
What You'll Do:
You’ll be the go-to person for quality, ensuring every care experience is delivered to a high standard—with warmth, professionalism, and safety at its heart. Your responsibilities will include:
* Meeting new clients and overseeing care and risk assessments
* Supervising a team of senior care staff and ensuring consistency across the board
* Carrying out spot-checks, supervisions, and six-monthly quality reviews
* Supporting training delivery and refreshing materials to keep learning dynamic and relevant
* Keeping client care records accurate and up-to-date (care plans, body maps, meds competency forms, etc.)
* Maintaining care assessments, MAR audits, and documentation for regulatory bodies
* Supporting the CQC Action Plan and preparing for inspections with confidence
* Liaising with social care professionals and attending client reviews
* Participating in the on-call rota (1 week in every 4 – escalated issues only)
Who You Are:
This role will suit someone who is:
* Experienced in home care and confident in working to CQC standards
* Skilled at leading, mentoring, and supporting a team
* Naturally organised, reliable, and responsive
* Capable of delivering training and coaching with clarity and patience
* Committed to doing things properly and improving wherever possible
* A strong communicator across teams, clients, and external partners
* IT-savvy and confident with care management systems and audit processes
What We Offer:
* £28,000 salary
* 21 days paid holiday
Company pension scheme
* Flexible working – 3 work-from-home days per month
* A supportive team environment where your voice matters
* The chance to make a genuine impact in people’s lives
