Summary
We are looking for an experienced, Lean Sigma trained Production Manager to professionalise manufacturing within a craft metal fabrication business in Billingshurst.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Manage supply chain logistics and coordinate with ERP systems for optimal resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with quality control measures and maintain mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Proven experience in production management and planning to meet Business objectives.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and ERP systems
• Expertise in supply chain management and continuous improvement methodologies
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of business processes
• Familiarity with quality control standards and assembly processes
• Fabrication and Sheet metal experience desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams effectively
