Summary
We’re looking for a proactive, multi-skilled technician with the ability to work across all disciplines with a bias in lighting. You will work as part of the Technical Department, servicing the technical requirements of all work presented by the Unicorn Theatre including productions, Creative Hub (schools and community) projects, venue hires and events. Our schedule is principally based around daytime shows for our young audiences.
This will include the operation of productions to a consistently high standard – maintaining the integrity of the production, first line maintenance of technical equipment, show-related maintenance and housekeeping anywhere within the Unicorn Theatre and on tour.
Reporting to: Technical Manager
Working with: Production & Technical Director, Company Stage Manager, Facilities Manager, Senior Technician, Technicians (permanent, casual and freelance) and production creative teams. Sharing occasional responsibility for casual and freelance Technicians, and University work placements.
