Summary
A Live-in Nanny is needed by this lovely family based in Kingston Upon Thames, London to provide proper care for their precious baby, toddler, and school-aged child. They seek someone energetic, proactive, focused on developmental stages and easygoing. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children and additional bonus for preparing snacks for the mum during the day however the family occasionally has a chef. The nanny needs to be comfortable joining them when they travel worldwide, including destinations like Dubai, USA and the South of France, ideally during every other school holiday for 4 to 8 weeks per year. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 8:45 pm with break in the day from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm. 2/3 hours of housekeeping then Nannying after school from 4:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Three Saturdays per month are required until around 5:00 pm, around 40 to 45 hours per week.
Accommodation: Own ensuite bedroom
Duties include:
Supervising and caring for children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing them
Organising playtime, educational games, and outings that promote learning and development
Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning doing laundry/ ironing and preparing meals
Driving or accompanying children to and from school, activities, or playdates
Setting and enforcing rules, managing behaviour, and helping children develop social skills
Keeping parents informed about their children's activities, progress, and any concerns
Ensuring a safe environment and being prepared for emergencies with basic first aid knowledge
Assisting in establishing and maintaining daily routines for meals, naps, and bedtime, schedules to be arranged between yourself and mum.
Building a trusting relationship with the children and fostering a positive, nurturing environment
Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning doing laundry/ ironing and preparing meals
