Summary
Academic Appointments are seeking a KS1 and KS2 HLTA for a primary school in Sheffield
Start Date: ASAP - July 2025
Are you a HLTA looking for some supply teaching work? Are you passionate, committed and enthusiastic about working with children?
A great opportunity for ECT to gain more experience within Primary Schools.
Main duties include:
*Leading lessons in the teacher’s absence
*Planning, preparing and resourcing teaching and learning for pupils
*Supporting teacher led learning
*1:1 pupil support and group work
Requirements:
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Level 3/HLTA
*Cache level 3 Teaching assistant / HLTA qualification or equivalent
*Excellent behaviour management skills
What we need from you:
*To be currently available for full time employment.
*2x references.
*A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one (we can assist with this part).
Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
