Summary

DFJ Automotive Ltd in Preston are recruiting for an Apprentice Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship over the duration of 15 months.

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable apprentice Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling various tasks related to inventory management and order fulfilment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Full training will be given.

Duties:
• Operate warehouse management systems, for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
•Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
•Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
•Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management.
•Engage in heavy lifting tasks as necessary, always adhering to safety protocols.
•Logistic planning and organisation.

Requirements:
•Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks effectively.
•Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment.
•Capability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:45pm / Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm / 15 minute break morning & afternoon / 30 minute lunch break unpaid / 40 hours per week
