ARCHITECT - BRADFORD AREA
We are advertising this vacancy as a recruitment business on behalf of our client. We can therefore only accept applications from those with a permanent right to live and work in the UK.
Our client is a growing, progressive practice of chartered architects and technologists and has provided design services for nearly 15 years. The business has an impressive array of clients in the education, retail, social housing, industrial and community sectors, as well as private housing commissions. The business prides itself on listening to their customers to enable the implementation of unique and creative solutions to make the construction process as painless as possible.
The work is varied and requires attention to detail whilst helping refine the design, specify the technical elements, and oversee the builds. It is essential that the successful candidate has a thorough working knowledge of current UK building regulations.
To apply you must have work experience within the architectural field, possess good AutoCAD skills and be technically competent in construction detailing. BIM knowledge would be useful as Revit software has been introduced to enhance the company’s capabilities.
You will ideally have a good architectural based degree although experienced candidates without academic qualifications may be considered. You will be expected to be a good communicator and of personable nature to liaise effectively with client, consultant and contractor organisations.
For the right candidate, there would eventually be the opportunity to be a shareholder/business manager.
Salary depending on experience level.
Full time hours/ flexible to be agreed.
