Summary
Job Advertisement Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Block Bricklayer in London for a 1-month project. The successful candidate must possess a valid CSCS card.
Responsibilities
- Lay and bind building materials, such as brick, structural tile, concrete block, cinder block, glass block, and terra-cotta block, with mortar and other substances to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bricklayer
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment
Day-to-day
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to discuss and plan layout and procedures
- Measure distance from reference points and mark guidelines to lay out work
- Spread soft bed of mortar that serves as base and binder for block, using trowel
