Summary
Driver Hire Oxford is looking for an HGV Class 2 ADR driver on a permanent basis for our client based in Witney who are the leading distributors of land fuel products
Job Profile:
• Title: HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
• Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours a week must be willing to work on a shift pattern
• Full time Salary – £37,000 PA – OTE £40k plus opportunity to earn more
Must Have:
• HGV Class 2 Licence
• Digital Tacho Card
• Driver CPC Card
• ADR class 3 in Tanks is desirable
• Clean licence preferred but no more than 6 points on your licence
• Willingness to work increased hours during peak trading times is essential.
• Willingness to be redeployed to alternative depot locations in close proximity as required on an ad hoc basis is essential
Responsibilities include:
• Driving the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all current legislation and company guidelines
• Ensuring that the vehicle is in a safe and legal condition
• Ability to work across a 7-day shift pattern
• Loading and discharging in a sensible manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures
• Loading from terminals (fuel samples must be taken at terminal and site)
• Obtaining customer signature before commencement of delivery
