Their operations span joinery manufacturing, steel fabrication, electrical and gas installation, solar panels, HVAC, refurbishment, and rail engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing
Ensure HSE compliance and best practices across all projects
Conduct risk assessments, method statements, audits, and training
Investigate incidents and share lessons learned
Support projects from pre-construction phase, identifying and mitigating risks
Promote a strong culture of safety and wellbeing at all levels
Mentor junior HSE staff and support professional development
Manage ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance
Attend and lead safety meetings, reporting monthly to senior stakeholders
Produce accurate and timely HSE reports and statistics
About You
3/4 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within Construction
Rail experience advantage - but not essential, training given
NEBOSH General & Construction Certificates (NVQ Level 5 or Diploma desirable)
Valid CSCS card and PTS (desirable)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to travel to multiple sites across the UK
Passionate about driving a positive safety culture
Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach
Skilled in influencing and challenging to improve HSE outcomes
