Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-time Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. This position requires a strong commitment to nurturing children's development and creating a safe, engaging environment where they can thrive. The Nursery Practitioner will work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents to support each child's individual needs.
Duties
Provide attentive and compassionate care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood education and development, focusing on physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
Manage daily nursery operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and exploration through play-based learning.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise, building strong partnerships with families.
Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that enhances the overall nursery experience for both children and staff.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance as required by regulatory standards.
Skills

Strong background in childcare with relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience level 2 0r 3 or above.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for position due to rural location .
An enhanced Dbs is required for this position ( can be completed)
Paediatric First Aid ( desirable but not essential as can be completed )
