Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baby room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate for Baby room Leader will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for working with children. As a leader , you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and effectively communicating with staff and parents of our bust baby room . This role is pivotal in fostering a positive atmosphere that promotes early childhood education and development.
Duties
Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage staff schedules and delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow during shifts.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Provide leadership and support to childcare staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure that all activities are age-appropriate and align with early childhood education standards.
Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided to children in the nursery.
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
Proven ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.
Experience working with children in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
A background in leadership roles within childcare or educational settings will be advantageous.
Most hold a qualification in early years and have experience of working in a nursery .
Our nursery operate 51 weeks per year, from 7.00 am - 6 pm.
Paediatric First Aid ( Desirable not essential as training can be given. )
We are committed to safeguarding our children and staff. You will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and suitable references for this postion.
