Summary

We are seeking a confident, experienced Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Total Health West Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a well-supported role as the sole podiatrist in our clinic, with the freedom to grow and shape your own patient list.

You’ll be working alongside a team of clinicians offering both mainstream medical and complementary therapies in a unique and welcoming setting.

Employed Role

£37,000-£46,145.37 per year
Additional earnings through commission on Swift, nail surgery, and orthotic sales
Self-Employed Role

55% of treatment fees
Additional commission on Swift, nail surgery, and orthotic sales

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, evidence-based podiatry care to a wide range of patients
Diagnose and treat common foot and lower limb conditions, including verrucae, ingrown toenails, musculoskeletal issues, and diabetic foot concerns
Carry out nail surgery, Swift therapy, and prescribe custom orthotics using GaitScan technology
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes and patient records in line with HCPC guidelines
Manage your own caseload efficiently, including follow-up appointments and patient communication
Educate patients on foot health, preventative care, and ongoing management strategies
Collaborate with other health professionals within the clinic (e.g. chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists) to deliver integrated care
Contribute to the growth and development of the podiatry service within the clinic
Support stock management and liaise with suppliers for orthotics and clinical materials
Uphold infection control and health & safety standards at all times
About You

HCPC-registered Podiatrist
Confident working independently
Experience with Swift, orthotics, and minor surgery preferred
Eager to grow your own patient list and contribute to the clinic’s success
HCPC-registered Podiatrist (essential)
BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent degree (essential)
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (preferred)
Confident working independently as the sole podiatrist in a clinic setting
Skilled in general podiatry, minor nail surgery, Swift therapy, and biomechanical assessments
Experience with custom orthotic prescription (GaitScan experience is an advantage)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A patient-centred approach with a high standard of clinical care
Organised, self-motivated, and proactive in managing your caseload
Willingness to engage with the wider clinic team and contribute to a multidisciplinary environment
Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining CPD portfolio
