Summary

Full time role of 35 hours per week. Previous activities worker experience essential as you will working with non-verbal, wheel chair users with complex needs. Driving licence is desirable.

A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Our service is home to 24 adults with physical disabilities, Fryers House is located in the market town of Romsey where we actively involve its service users in their local community and take part in a wide range of activities using local resources. This service is rated Good by CQC.

About the role

As an Activities Worker you will deliver a range of appealing and engaging social/recreational activities, providing exciting opportunities for our residents. Organising outings and events, your creative flair and passion to provide variety and choice will really make a difference to the lives of people with a disability that we support.

You may be helping to organise a large-scale service social event, finding common interests amongst a smaller group or trying out everyone’s baking skills, there will certainly be a range of exciting things to get stuck in to - creativity is key!

To be successful in this role previous activities worker experience is essential as you will working with non-verbal, wheel chair users with complex needs.
