Summary
Assistant Estimator in South London for Collins
JOB DESCRIPTION
I am currently assisting a South London based Main Contractor with their search for an Assistant Estimator. The contractor work on a vast range of fitout and refurbishment projects across commercial buildings ranging between £5m and £50m. Their work includes cut and carve, complex refurbishment and cat a and cat b works.
£50k-£60k
You'll:
- Prepare all financial elements and components of the tendering process from identification and authorisation to proceed to financial handover and beyond
- Assist the bidding team with any post tender negotiations as required
- Maintain accurate benchmarking data from completed tenders and secured projects
- Liaise with Procurement with regards to subcontractor selection and potential further opportunities on price betterment.
- Assist Senior Estimator in pricing various projects
We're looking for:
- 2 - 5 years' experience
- Experience pricing tenders using computerised estimating system(s)
- Demonstrable experience of liaising/working with Sub-contractors and Suppliers to produce robust estimates
- Demonstrable experience of issuing/receiving tender queries.
