Summary

Part-Time Administrator

Location: Amersham

Hours: 10 hours a week(approx) Monday to Friday varied

Salary: £14.00 to £15.00 per hour

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a Part-time Administrator, required by their client, a leading global manufacturing and engineering company. This role offers part-time work on a temporary basis.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a busy, flexible environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Slack
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with invoice systems (e.g., Oracle iProcurement, Basware).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support.
  • Manage complex calendars, prioritise meeting requests, and ensure optimal time management.
  • Organise, prepare agendas for, and coordinate meetings - including the organisation of leadership team meetings/logistics.
  • Assist with team logistics, coordinating internal communications, and supporting general team operations.
  • Plan and run internal and external events, such as team offsites, leadership workshops.
  • Handle supplier invoice processing, budget tracking, and liaise with finance and procurement teams as needed.
  • Coordinate international travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and detailed travel schedules.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
