Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of all warehouse activities, including stock control, management of company stock, plant and equipment; utilising Microsoft elements and app Reflow (training will be provided). This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively.
Duties
• Initiate stock control at the first instance at our site, as we currently have no stock control process in place, familiarity with Lean management principles would be beneficial.
• This will involve working with the team to identify stock that is required to be located at the new offices, waste to be disposed of etc.
• Overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, goods in, goods out and stock accuracy, including logistics of welfare, plant and vehicles to our various sites.
• Monitoring and reporting issues with stock control and logistics control.
• Collaborative working with our existing fitter and all team members to ensure a seamless coordination of logistics activities.
• Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to business processes.
• Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimise inventory control and logistics.
• Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and other relevant data.
• Maintaining a productive workplace, uploading Health and Safety Standards.
Experience
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within logistics or supply chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of business processes related to warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
• Familiarity with forklift operations is advantageous; certification may be required.
• Experience with transportation management systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement strategies in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
